Within the vibrant Phoenix Metro, our Healthy Roots Garden serves as an anchor for sustainable food systems. At The Orchard, we are dedicated to promoting locally grown produce and fostering community wellness. The Orchard uses the words "healthy roots" as an intentional metaphor. A plant's roots are healthy when our work looks to nature first in a regenerative, non-polluting manner. The healthy roots of our ancestors are respected and empowering when we look to past traditions and practices.

At The Orchard, our urban farming programs are dedicated to reconnecting the community with the roots of locally grown produce. We take pride in our mission to educate and engage the youth by installing edible garden beds throughout the Phoenix Valley. These stylish garden beds not only beautify spaces but also provide a tangible way for our community to access hyper-local food. Join us as we cultivate a culture of sustainability, wellness, and connection through the simplicity and beauty of growing food.
Buy Vegan Compost
Our Food to Food regenerative composting operation provides our gardens and growers in our community with rich compost that increases crop nutrient density and soil resilience. Our Healthy Roots Garden showcases a full circle vegan composting operation. Email us if you'd like to visit or purchase! Can also deliver for a $6/mile delivery fee, one-way for minimum 3 cubic yards for delivery.

Find us at the Spaces of Opportunity Farmers Market. Our Harvest is a cooperative service with Spaces of Opportunity incubator farmers and other local growers. We purchase produce directly from the farm and other local growers for the Our Harvest table at the monthly market. All forms of payment are accepted including SNAP and Double Up Bucks.
